Which is harder?: AP Latin Vergil or AP Latin Lit

My school offers each class every other year. I plan on taking AP Latin later in high school, and I just wanted to know which one is harder. If I want to take AP Latin Vergil, it will be in the 11th grade, but if I want to take AP Latin Literature, it will be in the 12th grade. Which one should I take? Also, would it be benifitial for me to take both?

In my school, Latin Literature was easier. We read Horace, and Catullus who are so much easier to read than Vergil.

It's certainly nice to take both. You don't have to, because you only need one 4 or 5 to get exempted from foreign language requirement at UVA. It's beneficial if you like to take more Latin in college, or just expand your knowledge of the language.

I'm pretty good at Latin and like it a lot but I doubt that I'll be taking it in college. I'm also taking German. My school requires at least 1 year of Latin to graduate. You also have to take 3+ years of a modern language or 2 years of 2 languages (can include Latin). My school only offers Spanish, French, and German (it's a private school).
