Which is the best possible housing or me? Confused

Hey there everyone,

I have finally made the big decision of choosing Boston University as my home for the next 4 years and I also hope that this is the right decision as well. The next step now is choosing a residence for me. I will be pursuing a major in business at the School of Management (SMG). I would like to have a residence which is not only close to the SMG, but also has better rooms and friendly environment.

Any suggestions will be highly helpful.

PS: I have my IB board examinations coming up in 5 days due to which I am already extremely tensed. Also, I fail to extract time out of my busy schedule.
Please HELP ME!!!

Thank You.

For an incoming freshman, I would choose either Warren or West. Warren is closer to SMG.
Both are pretty standard dorm experiences but are the best places to meet people as most are full of freshman starting out at BU who want to make friends.

shiningstar91,

Even I was considering both these dorms only. However, the thing is that West is too far away from SMG and I will have to take this long 1.5 mile walk everyday. On the other hand, looking at some videos, the rooms in Warren didn’t seem to be too attractive to me. What should I do?

Towers Dorm is right behind SMG. The rooms are small but it is also predominantly a Freshmen Dorm.

There is a free shuttle that runs all the way down Commonwealth Avenue, but people also tend to walk-Boston is a very walkable city and you’ll get used to it

Honestly, you’ll be living in a freshman dorm-not many of them, no matter what college, will be particularly attractive. However, it’s not really about how your room looks-it’s the experiences you’ll have. My room was pretty standard in Warren, but I still had a great time.
