which is the easiest ivy to get into?

Penn engineering is easier to get into than cornells. Penn's avg in that is 1424, cornells 25-75 is 1410-1520. Cornell's engineering is more respected, and best of the ivies.

I think if we are talking about general undergrad admissions (i.e. NOT the specialized programs such as Brown's PLME, Columbia SEAS, Penn WHARTON, etc.), then:

Cornell would be the "least difficult" undergrad program to get an acceptance (I agree with a previous poster who says to label any Ivy "easy" to get into as a bit of a paradox)

For year 2005, Penn SEAS SAT I average 1490 much higher then college and
nursing. I think Penn nursing may be the one

Easiest is the greater legacy you can demonstrate or who views you as a development.....having both is a real winning combo.

Why does it matter which Ivy is easiest to get into? Are you going to apply to Cornell instead of HYP, because you have a better chance? They're nothing alike!

Why would anyone care? The schools are so different, one from another, as to make the question suspect. Cornell is far, far more like Northwestern than it is like Dartmouth; Columbia is much more like UChicago than it is like Brown; Brown is far more like Vassar or Smith than it is like Harvard.

tokai, whats your source? Here's mine: http://www.seas.upenn.edu/under/ugviewbook-lores.pdf page 14.

On another page, its 1446, but that's of accepted, not matriculants: http://www.seas.upenn.edu/alumni/PennEngNews_F04/PennEngNews_Fall2004.pdf
I do acknowledge that I am saying engineering, and you SEAS.

i was just wondering thats all. im really not concerned with ivy league status anyway. im planning on applying to non-ivy schools, schools that i WANT to go to.
