Which Ivy League is the best for Christians?

As a number are noting so well here, the pervasive seduction and theme of our culture calls them to being gentle, sweet, “nice”, and loving as they ignore the truth that their so-called friends and loved ones are aboard the train headed for Hell in their eternity. Heaven forbid any might be awakened from their sleeping car and pleasureable dreams.

We gotta wonder where this approach came from. No, I guess we really don’t need to wonder, do we. He’s clever. :frowning: ;)

btw, Christians are not called to be “persuasive.” Only convicted, committed, and commissioned. As a preacher I know often says, “we are so kind and decent, that we are indecent.” Indecent indeed as the train rolls on… while we’re all being nice.

Whistle Pig, you might want to try the “wise as serpents, gentle as doves” approach once in a while. Perhaps that preacher you know is familiar with the source.

Like Paul? ;)
