Korean (slightly in the process…I can read it, just have no idea what I’m reading), Japanese, French (already in the process), and maybe Russian.

Go Asia.

Korean (slightly in the process…I can read it, just have no idea what I’m reading), Japanese, French (already in the process), and maybe Russian.

Go Asia.

I definitely want to continue taking French. I’ve taken it since I was five, but moving to America (from Canada), not taking it for two years, and being placed in classes that were below me in middle school has definitely hindered my skills.
And Korean! Such a cool language (I’ve always liked how it sounded) and I love that Hangul is phonetic. Also really like the culture.

I’ve taken Spanish for the last five years, and I definitely want to become fully fluent in it. My teacher says I’m well on my way.

Other than that, I want to learn Arabic (kind of soft of in the proces… I have some books and software I’ve been studying and can say some things), Farsi and Yiddish.

While we’re on the topic, does anyone know if it’s doable to take two languages in college? (1 intermediate-advanced level and 1 beginner level)

It just sort of depends on what else you have going. You probably won’t be able to take both every semester, but you can probably have a reasonable amount of success taking one and then the other.

Japanese, French, Spanish, Latin.

Japanese for career purposes (I’m banking on German engineers to know English), French cause its cool, Spanish since its America’s second language and I have a lot of Latino(a) friends, and Latin so I appear more sophisticated than I really am.

Norwegian and German, and improve my French.

Definitely Finnish, which I know some phrases in but am far from fluent. Not a well-known language but beautiful all the same, and I want to learn it especially since I have several friends in Finland.

More practically, I’d also like to learn Korean and Japanese. Here’s hoping they’re not as difficult to master as Mandarin. Oh, and possibly Russian as well.

Done with Latin. Want to continue with French. Want to become literate in Chinese on my own. Very much want to start Italian.

German!! or maybe Spanish

Norwegian.

To bad that barely any colleges have that.

If not that, then I would pick Dutch, probably.

In some months you can gain minor competency. Let me be decisive for you: search for resources in Chinese asap. If you find adequate resources immediately available, start studying Chinese. Otherwise, start studying French.

I collect dictionaries but I would most like to improve my fluency in Japanese and German; I’m working on the latter and I read Spanish books.

I’m fluent in Arabic and (almost) Spanish. I would love to learn Russian, German, Mandarin, and Korean…I just love languages!

Russian and German

I think I’ve decided on French. I just sort of contemplated all the variables and decided that it’s the best option for college.

But, of course, that doesn’t mean I don’t want to learn the others…

I want to learn Spanish, Mandarin, Farsi, German, and Arabic (in that order). We’ll see if that happens…

deutsch.

german just sounds awesome.

German
Korean
Jap (omg)
french
italian

Japanese, Spanish(I’ve been learning this for 3 years but would like to continue), and Mandarin

Русский язык

Same, except for the 3 years part
