<p>I can't decide on the major to apply to for Berkeley because I heard the College of Engineering and the College of Chemistry are harder to get in, as opposed to the College of L&S.
I am interested in Chemical Biology (College of Chemistry),
Biochemistry & Molecular Biology (College of L&S),
and Bioengineering (College of Engineering).
Oh, my goal is to go into medical school. </p>
<p>I don't want to apply to a "hard to get in" major and get rejected from UCB though!
So here are my stats:

Chemistry 5

Eng. lang. 5

Took 5 APs up to junior year, all As on transcript.
marching band, orchestra, community service club, peer counselor, club president.
been in the U.S. for 6.5 years. </p>
<p>So my top choice would be Chemical Biology....should i go ahead??
Also, for this college, it says i should mention my interest in this major in my personal statement.
is that really necessary?? I already wrote it and I don't want to change it:(
