I know this sounds really stupid, but I just recently found out that you cant major in pre-med and that its just a course on the way to medical school. And I also found out that you can get into medical school with any major as long as you have met the required prerequisite classes and the popular majors for pre-med are biology and chemistry. Which majors would help you prepare for the MCAT more, though? Which majors would you recommend for someone going through the pre-med course?

Any major will adequately prepare you for the MCAT as long as you complete the pre-med curriculum. They are revising the MCAT to add social science sections as well as the traditional natural science sections, so it’s becoming broader. Pursue what you love.

Any major is fine. I am a Cardiologist and majored in French.
