<p>None of the dorm require a car or are far from anywhere on campus. I recommend living in the AMRs because of the atmosphere. You will be more integrated into the community than you would be living in Wolman/McCoy.</p>
<p>Your questions make it seem as if you think the Engineering School is on a different campus or that Hopkins has a spread-out campus. Not true. The campus is about 140 acres self-contained and takes at tops 10 minutes to walk from end-to-end. No car is needed. The farthest freshman dorm is one block from the main campus and that takes at most five minutes to walk to classrooms. </p>
<p>Also, understand that dorms are not separated by gender or academic interests.</p>
