which math is experimental?

for those without an extra math section, do you guys have the question where it asked how many edges a cube has if you cut one of its corners?

I have an extra CR section instead the math one
I think that answer should be 11 edges...right

thats not a choice X_X

i had a REALLY hard math section where i skipped like 6 questions in a row...it was section 8 for me and i'm really hoping that it is the experimental. i was practically hyperventilating because i didn't know what to do...

:( :(

wat about fire trucks? its really hard.

^ that took me a while to understand at first because it was kind of confusing.. but i eventually got it lol

About the fire truck one, is it a square if m-distants is 3, right

yep it is....

I was happily filling out blip sheet answers until I stumbled upon an extremely Math section. I just hope that was an experimental one.

Why do people keep starting "which math was experimental?" threads?

fire truck is NOT experimental...and god that was so easy i cant believe ppl thot it was tuf.......continue.

ps. heres my post <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=103472%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=103472</a>

harry3734,

I think the problem with the giant exponents is from the experimental math section.

x= (5^1304) * (2^1308)
How many digits does x have?

HOW DO YOU DO THIS?!!?!?

I think so too, Legend. I didn't have that question. (My experimental has to be CR)

Thank you Hamster. Just to make sure, did that "experimental" section also have a medium difficulty question about "if the Celcius temperature for the function is (x) what is the increase in temperature in degrees F?" or something along the line?

LOL Funny how we're all so uptight about the experimental section... but I can see why though, because that was one of the hardest math sections encountered on the SATs.

Of those who had 4 math sections.... in the order of Section 3, Section 5, Section 7, and Section 9..... section 7 was experimental im realllllly hoping... that one was extremely hard i skipped like 4 questions.... ne1 confirm this???

I have heard reports of Section 8, 7, and 9 being experimental

I am totally confused

I had either 8 or 9 Math - not sure which

well heres the thing.... the format of the SAT Math always includes

18 grid in questions , 20 mult choice, and 16 mult choice

so for my test of math that had sections 3,5,7,9 .... 5 and 7 were the same format so one of those were POSITIVELY the experimental... hopefully 7...

ya, it better be 7. I think i did alright on the math sections except for 7
