I just found out that I got a 4 on the Calculus AB exam. According to the Stern policy this qualifies me to take Calc I, Clac II, or Linear Algebra. Which one should I take? Why am I able to take all of these different levels? Thanks!

Calc II probably. AB covers Calc I.

Take calculus 1 even if you learned most of the material in AP CALC AB!

A college course is so much different from and thorough than an AP course.

My roommate and my best friend is doing the same thing too even though

they excelled in AP Calculus

Did they change the policy? I thought that they required you to take Calc II before taking Linear Algebra or Calc III.

Take Calc 1 for the easy A. Take Calc II if you want to do a math intensive major, want to minor in math, challenge yourself .etc. Be warned that anything past Calc I can be a little difficult. Teachers may enforce curves or give you books that are difficult to understand.

AB should cover Calc I. From my experience, it also covered half of Calc II.

Thanks everyone! Yeah, I am going to take Calc. I.
