Hi! So, I know that meal plan should be based on how much you plan to eat in a day and all, but I was wondering which one everyone was thinking about going with/ which one is the most beneficial to have? I don’t really understand the Block-O versus the Unlimited either…

Also, if anyone could recommend one for me, that would be appreciated too. I plan to eat at least three times a day, but I also want to be able to get snacks and stuff.

Unlimited plans offer 7 entries per day into a dining hall plus a number of blocks that expire each week Saturday night. The entries to dining halls cannot be transferred to another person (a fiend visiting you would have to pay $10 to eat in the hall with you). I live on North campus and do not much care for the north dining hall. Dining halls are all you can eat facilities that are probably what parents think of when they think of campus “dining”.

I have the 350 plan and I hate it the least of all the plans- I don’t really care for any of them. I know students who have the various unlimited plans and enjoy eating large meals many times per day, but I like being able to snack anywhere on campus.

I would avoid the Unlimited plans. Many students loathe them, and they want to spend their blocks at other establishments on campus. I have the 450 plan (I eat three meals a day) and am only a few blocks over. I would suggest going with either the 350 or 450 plans. Most kids on the Traditions plans switch over after one semester.

I got the 350 plan per recommendation from my brother and his friends. I don’t usually eat breakfast (and he doesn’t either) so he said 350 is enough then and 450 would be far too much. I would avoid the unlimited plans, most people I talked to hate them.
