I'm currently in my second year at community college in New Jersey and am starting to consider where I'd like to transfer to. I know that I want to major in Journalism, and I also know that I want to stay in New Jersey.

Two schools that I'm considering which both offer journalism majors are Rutgers-New Brunswick and Ramapo College. I could commute to Ramapo, but for Rutgers, I'd have to live on campus which I'd honestly rather not do. I'd rather stay home, work and save money, and I'm sure I could get a scholarship which would cover most of my tuition at Ramapo. Also, I'm saving my money for grad school!

I'm honestly not too concerned about getting "the college experience". My main concern is choosing a school which offers more in the journalism field.

So if anybody knows, does Rutgers have a significantly better Journalism program than Ramapo? Are there any other schools in New Jersey which would be a better pick for me? Any other advice would also be greatly appreciated.

Thanks :)
