which of the top 25 schools do i have a decent chance at for RD, if any??

My stats

act=29 (1st time, but will retake hoping for 30 or above)
satII us history(700) chemistry (730)
10 ap (Most rigorous possible) and all honor classes except 2 (scored mostly 4 and a few 5)by end of senior year (mostly A and A-) AP scholar with distinction
GPA=4.2 out of 4.0
no class rank, but would be top 2% out of 700 students.

cello player since 4th grade, amnesty international (10,11,12), math team(11, 12, captain for 12th grade) nhs (11,12) volunteer at hospital(11,12) tutor children(10,11,12), led a mandatory class of about 20 students, taking care of family chores while parent has been gone at a mental facility (this takes up my time...is this considered an ec?). first generation college person, biracial (asian caucasion), disadvantaged (low income, divorced parents, parent at mental facility, all happened during high school but managed to keep up my grades) Planning on an excellent essay about my acquired passion for learning/reading. I say acquired because I never grew up in an educational atmophere. I had a dramatic improvement in high school (act went from 18-29)

anyone pleasssseeee

105 views and no response. I need help about what my reaches should be.

Without knowing the schools you're interested in, it's difficult to tell you chances.

I just checked you have posted specific schools on other forums. Reading through those, I'd agree that Wellesley is a reach for you, the others are possible.

i'm not really asking for chances. I have to come up with a list of safties/matches/reach schools. I know that the top 25 schools would be reaches. I was just wondering which ones would be a reasonable reach. please give me advice

Do you expect people to look up the top 25 schools for you, list them all and then give you chances? I think that's a little unreasonable.

Why don't you list the schools you want to attend? and maybe people will respond.

As for your question-

"taking care of family chores while parent has been gone at a mental facility (this takes up my time...is this considered an ec?)."

I don't think "family chores" is an EC.

again, i am not asking for people to list the top 25 schools and give me my chances on them. I don't even want chances, but something similar. I am sure that a lot of people here have and idea of what the top notch schools are (i don't even know specifically what the top 25 schools are but people have been using that number a lot, so it appears that people have a general idea about it). Back to my original question I was just wondering which of the top schools would be a reasonable reach...

o, and i should have given more background about my family situation. my mom, the only parent which i lived with was and is gone, so i took up all the responsibilities as a parent (cooking, cleaning, etc) which takes up a lot of time. Should i even mention that (the only place i could think of mentioning that is in the ec column.)

i would mention that in an essay.. its not really an ec, b/c its not organized and such, but you could definetely make note of it in an essay
