Which of these Universities give Internationals financial aid?

<p>I applied to around 11 universities, and i'm just scared that even if i get accepted, I won't be able to afford it. I'm in the mid-upper class, but I have 2 other siblings as well...so..it's a bit hard for me to pay for tuition. My dad did save up some money but I will still be needing around 15,000-20,000 dollar scholarship money. Does any internationals have any experience in these colleges? How much financial aid do they give? I have a 2010 SAT (690 CR, 680 Math, 640 Writing) and around a 3.5 UW. </p>

<p>Most of those schools only give merit aid to internationals and your stats would not qualify you for such aid except maybe at SUNY and UConn. </p>

<p>I know only the top ivy league schools give needs based aid to internationals, and even that is sometimes heavily limited and hurts your chances. Are you a Canadian? If so, then some universities do consider you a student from the “homeland” and give needs BLIND aid (and a lot of it).</p>

<p>With your stats though, you’ll have to reconsider even applying to an ivy league.</p>

<p>Right now, your best bet is SUNY Bing, the others are reaches and therefore unlikely to provide financial aid to a lower-level (for them) international applicant since only the tippy top applicants get FA.
here’s a list of colleges that still accept applications - if your FA need is 15-20,000, some of these colleges would likely work out.

<p>I don’t know much about Uconn and SUNY, but I know some colleges in your list like Purdue, UVa are unlikely to give aid to international students. If you need FA, you should apply to private colleges. Ivies and some top-tier colleges give need-blind(at least need-based) aid to international applicants, but I’m afraid you are not impressive enough. I think you should also look at some LACs. Some of them give much aid to international students. :)</p>

<p>Boston University is also known for giving very little aid - whether for international students or those from the U.S.</p>
