If you can help me with info about each university and their computer science program it would be great.
UT Austin has a very good CS program. I think A&M would be the second best. I don’t know about the rest.
By info of each university i mean like how good is it and how important (good and how much research does it have) the program is in that university
Really surprised that UT Dallas is not on your list!
I heard that their program is way better than UT at Austin, but that’s all I know
How good is Texas State? Im really interested because it’s 2 hrs from my hometown, it’s located between austin and san antonio and the outlets are basically next to the university. All if that is convincing me, the only thing that is not helping me is that idk the quality of education & the program

I know people pick schools for all kinds of reasons and location is often a factor but the proximity to outlet malls is a new one for me:-)
I mentioned it because it is a good place to work
Texas State is a great school but it does not compare to the others when it comes to computer science. I would rank the top school as follows.
How’s texas state’s computer science program? And what about TTU and UH?

Texas State has a average computer science dept. It is a great school and located in a great spot between Austin and San Antonio. There is lots for students to do. Their is not much to do in Lubbock but the students at Texas Tech seem to be a close knit group. They take care of each other. I really don’t know much about their computer science program. UofH has the better computer science program out of the three. Since the school is Houston there are lots of internship opportunities. I attended school their years ago and enjoyed my years at UofH. I will say having a car at UofH would be a must for me. Being stuck on campus without a way of exploring the city gets old fast. If your interested in cyber security you should take a look at UTSA. They have one of the best cyber security programs in the nation.
