Which of these would you choose?

Any more opinions?

thanks for all your advice. anymore?

UConn has the best reputation of all the schools

Really, I thought it was Northeastern. Thanks for your advice? Which schools would people choose and why? Are there some things that not everyone knows about one of these schools?

linkin-have you visitited all of these schools? If so, maybe you might pick the school where you see yourelf being happiest for the next four years. Great people come out of all of these schools and at some point you have to figure out where you see yourself..not where everyone else who doesn't know you sees you.

UMass-Amherst has the advantage of being part of the 5 college consortium, where you can take classes on and meet students from those other campuses.

I think that Northeastern is a great choice. School is on the rise, it is gaining serious reputation and plus you have co-op. you work for six month and get paid. Besides great experience and big plus for job placement co-op can be some kind of financial support. You can ask in Northeastern’s forum what the median salary is for six month for engineering majors.

Good luck

I heard that its hard to get into classes you need at UMass because of recent budget cuts. Is that true?

D. was accepted to UMass Honors program. Cost is very attractive - we are MA residents. But...is it worth the savings? She was also accepted to Gettysburg with 5K merit award (Founders) and accepted to Lafayette and BU with no award. Would also like to hear thoughts on Lafayette vs. Gettysburg. We can afford any of these, but really, who wants to pay full price! D. wants to major in Psych but may consider pre med.
Thanks for help - this is my first post after months of stalking.

UMass is coming out of its lowest of its budgetary woes. They are hiring a lot of new faculty members, which would make it easier to get classes than it has been.

Thats good! any other opinions and why>

Can I have more responses. People gave me a huge variety and didn't always explain why. Thanks for your help though!

Everyone who posted here, thanks a lot. Looks like I cannot squeeze out anymore responses.
