Which one: France or Italy for Study abroad?

This is just a general question. I have never visited Paris or Rome, but both their countries' culture interest me a lot. For people who have studied in either (or both) countries, can you tell me more about your experiences and perhaps even highlight the cultural differences, and in general how your experience there was?

Thanks!

I’ve only holidayed there, so i cant give any advice with regards to studying; but i will say i dont think either city represents their respective countries culture very well.

In order to get the full experience of the culture it is generally best to study in a non-tourist city or town.

I can’t speak for France, but Italy is amazing. My family is from Sicily, but I have been to Rome before, and it is so beautiful and unlike any other city in the world, it is a must see. Italian is a beautiful language and the culture of course is great. Plus, I like Italian food better than French food ;)
