I have recently been accepted to JHU, NU, and UNC, but I can't really decide where to go for next year. I want to major in biology/biochemistry/chemistry with a pre-med track, and while I know that JHU is a really good school for pre-meds, they gave me the least amount of financial aid. I received a 32K scholarship from NU and JHU, but NU provided extra 2k for NM and other work/study and loan opportunities. I will call JHU for a better FA offer, but they may not change it. I'm still waiting to hear about scholarship and honors from UNC. I've visited UNC and will visit NU, but I probably won't have the chance to see JHU in person.
Has anyone else visited JHU and/or UNC or NU. If so, which one did you like the best and what was JHU's "vibe" on campus?

I’m between JHU and UNC too. I enjoyed JHU but the campus vibe was not very lively. then again i went in august. I’m visiting UNC tomorrow for explore carolina so i’ll let you now.

UNC’s environment seemed very friendly and open, and I’ve heard some negative comments after JHU’s social env. Guess you’ll know after visiting both campuses. Have fun at UNC!

LOVED UNC…definitely made up my mind this weekend. you?

definitely visit during the school year. What did you expect visiting Hopkins in August? Every college is basically dead in summer.

Congrats on your decision! I’m visiting JHU in two weeks. UNC’s atmosphere seems very open and friendly, but JHU has a really good pre-med track.
I just got a full ride to UNC too so that’ll make my decision that much harder.
Did you happen to sit in on a class at UNC or look into the dorms? I only received the campus tour…
