Which one of these pathways look the best to colleges?

So I’m currently a sophomore in high school and was just wondering what would be the most impressive to colleges.

Student 1

9th - Honors Algebra 2
10th - Honors Calculus
11th - AP Calculus BC

Student 2

9th - Honors Algebra 2
10th - Calculus BC
11th - AP Calculus BC

Assume that both students received A’s for these classes and 5’s on their AP exam.

What’s the difference between “Calculus BC” and “AP Calculus BC?” If student 2 got an A in “Calculus BC,” why would he need to waste a year and take “AP Calculus BC?”

I’m not sure either of those make sense. In our school it goes: Alg 2, pre-Calc, then either Calc AB or Calc BC. If you take BC then you can move to Calc 3. If you take AB then you can move to BC but there will be some overlap.

The same.
