I’m accepted by UCLA Bizecon and CMU Tepper and have been struggling between deciding which one to go to for days. I know CMU has a strong business program but it locates in Pittsburgh where is less developed and probably has fewer job opportunities. Also, I’ve heard that almost every student at CMU has to learn CS/data, which can be quite challenging for me.
Whereas, UCLA has a higher ranking in national universities and is very well-known globally (it does matter for an international student like me). Yet, I feel like UCLA’s undergraduate business curriculum is not that strong and it lies its emphasis mainly in economics and accounting, but I actually would like to do consulting or banking after college.
Career opportunities, college’s prestige, and the stress level/GPA are the things that matter to me the most. If money isn’t my concern, which one should I choose?
