MathII, I already got a 750 on it last year...but I was really stressed out the day before the test, didn't study at all, and didn't get enough sleep the day before. So...to retake for the 800 or to not retake?

(I took chem last year too and got a 670 (ew) on it, but I don't think I can retake that one because I forgot a lot of junk...)

So, my second question is what to take third? I just looked at the literature, us, and spanish (non-listening) tests in my subject test bb, and Spanish I gotta say looks the easiest. But, because I'm in my fourth year of Spanish(I'm not hispanic though) would it be looked down upon if I took this relatively basic test? And if I took it, would it make a good blend of a resume combined with the other 2 tests?

You should most certainly take the Spanish with Listening exam.

Regardless of which Spanish exam you take, you'll be up against a tough curve, considering many peoples of Hispanic origin take the exam for an easy 800.

You would have to be an exceptional Spanish student to score 750+.

To save yourself some trouble, you might want to brush up on Chem and retake it. Only retake Math II if you know you're going to get an 800 on it.

I dunno if I'll have time to take listening, b/c I think it's only offered November(like right when I apply to college), but really if the curve for the regular Spanish is anything like in the subject test blue book (-2 or 3 = 800) then I might be able to pull it off.

Chem, I really don't think I'll be able to relearn it, I'll just have to live with 670 I guess.

So I guess either Spanish regular or US, and Spanish Listening is out of the question right?

I retook the big SAT in October, and SAT IIs in November and December.
I mean, you're right, you won't have time to prepare at all if you're setting yourself up for a tough senior year.
However, for a subject like Spanish, for which you have been preparing these past few years... it's very possible.

I stand by my recommendation of Spanish with Listening.

If you really feel that you don't want to pressure yourself too much around that time,
then, certainly, go for Spanish w/out listening.
