I don't have much time before the dec. test and the only book I could find was Barron's. When I started going through it, I hit upon quantum numbers, which I haden't done before. Is this going to be important for the actual test? I heard Barron's overprepares, so what things aren't required to know for the test? Thanks for any help.

any thoughts????

orgo chem. all you need to know is about benzene and methane, ethane, probane, and butane.

i totally overprepared that section and unluckily got 0 question about it.

no organic chem sometimes is on the test. i suggest you study everything.

Organic chem may be on the test, but the Barron's book overpreps for that.

From what I remember, the book also has "different" methods of solving electro chem and redox problems, when in actuality the old-fashioned textbook methods always work fine.

Who knows ? Different test versions contain different ranges of knowledge.
