Which prep book should I get?

Hey guys,

I just began studying for the SAT's. I recently bought the Baron's book and was just wondering if it is any good. What others do you guys recommend? I heard from my friends that the Baron's 2400 book is good, do you guys think i should get it as well?
Like in terms of practice tests, should I buy the CB's blue book with 10 tests?
Also, for vocabulary, is the Word SmartII a good way to learn them?

Thanks a lot! :)

so when do u plan to take the sat

Probably Jan and June or March and Oct.

what grade …
12th: ummmm just do tests
11th: you have time so get the Barrons 2400 and some other random book just for practice
10th: learn some vocab and get the main idea about the SAT look at where your weak spots are and take a diagnostic test

Oh, sorry, 11th :D

anyone else have suggestions? :D

The Barron’s book is excellent. What edition do you have?

I have the 25th ed. Should I stick to it?

Anything but the 22nd edition works ;).

Great  Thanks!

BB for practice tests
Direct Hits for vocab.
Barrons for CR and Writing (Also has a good math section)
Grubers for Math

Get da blue book mayne !!!

ah, so Direct Hits is better than wordsmart?
It is the one with the 2 volumes, correct?
I will try to get that one right away! thanks
