Which reach schools should I apply to??

Class of 2021 here. With all this extra time indoors, I want to start deciding reach schools to visit this summer/early fall so I can decide where to apply EA. Here is some information about me:

Basic Stats:
-White female from upperclass family in Wisconsin
-Attend small private Catholic school (noncompetitive)
-35 ACT (36/33/36/36)
-1490 PSAT (very very likely NMSF)
-4.0 GPA unweighted (1st of 32 in class)
-Including senior year, will have 9-10 AP’s
-Taking 2 college classes each semester senior year (including Calc 2 and 3)
-Good EC’s with no hook (president of Key Club and NHS, member of other leadership clubs, regional awards for mathematics league, pianist and vocalist with state festivals/awards, girls state, youth position on city’s board of directors, research last summer at local university involving POTS syndrome, basic volunteering through school/church, personal research for senior capstone involving using social media for epidemiology predictions)

What I want in a college:
-Great mathematics and biology program (plan to be math major on pre-med track)
-Mid size in place that’s not too warm (mid-west or east coast is optimal)
-Ability to start research early (freshmen or sophomore year)
-Help me get into great professional program (ultimate goal is to be biomedical researcher with math focus)
-Chill student body (not snobby/cutthroat, willing to help others out, “mid-west nice,” etc)
-Very intelligent peers and professors who will academically challenge me
-Ability to surround self with other passionate people
-Financial aid is not a huge deal, but merit aid would be a nice addition

Based on this, what schools should I look into in terms of reach? Also, is there a school that fits in with my interests and provides great merit aid for my stats?

I’m not sure but your stats are great! Congrats! Do you have Naviance through your school or some such program where you can put in your stats and interests and get a list of schools? I think if you apply to a range of levels of difficult to get into schools, that you will get a number of acceptances that you like. I am sure others can advise you on high merit schools for your stats. I’d do your state flagship, esp if it has an honor’s college.
