Atherton and Simmons are for the honor students first and if there are extra rooms then they open up.

Wow. I just logged into eLion and found out that I have to pay $25 extra for living in Atherton. They charge $25 extra for living in Atherton/Simmons every semester, because we have 24/7 access to the computer lab, music room, and study lounges.

Yeah, they're charging us this year. Last year they didn't, though the website still stated that there was an extra $25 fee/semester to live in Atherton/Simmons. I think it's worth it though.

Oh yeah.... it's definitely worth it. Last night was just beautiful; I got to listen to LIVE porn in the middle of the night. The sound effects were fresh. My roommate thinks im a dumbass that I would not wake up with a blanket in my face. I'm no idiot; I should put thumbtacks in his bed.

OIOIOI, mr. almighty here heard moaning coming from the other room in a COLLEGE DORM!! From your posts, it honestly seems like you are one of those skinny, nerdy guys who can't get along with anyone and then come on the internet full of attitude and spite. it sure seems like you are having trouble communicating with your roomate and have no authority over him, hence why you come here to whine and express your frustrations ("I should put thumbtacks in his bed."). Why don't you man up and tell him your grievances instead of spending your time scolding and alienating the guy?

Grow up dude, I know you probably never had any, but college students tend to have intercourse on dorms, it is common. Why would you despise the fact that something like that happened? Maybe you should get out and do some physical activity or something to rid your system of all the stress and negativity.

lil, it's not the dorm's fault that your roommate is that way. I know all about the bad roommate deal. Mine last year wasn't so great, though based on what I've heard, it could have been so much worse. I agree with others that you really should discuss these issues and if he doesn't comply, well then yes, bring it to the attention of your RA.
