Okay so I asked this question a couple of days ago but I only got one response so I figured I'd try one last time.

Okay so I'm officially done with SAT testing forever (woooooooo!) but I have yet to send in my SAT scores to my schools. Basically, I'm not sure if I should send them all, or omit some. Some background:

SAT 1 : 1460/1600... 2220/2400
Schools: -Vassar
-Wesleyan
-Boston College
-Fordham
Intended major: Classics/Latin
SAT II: US History:770
-Latin: 680
-Physics: 660

So I'm definitely sending the US score, but I'm unsure of the other two. Since I put classics as my intended major, I'm afraid that the schools I'm applying to will think a 680 isn't good enough and will reject me. And the physics is generally just a pretty bad score (I only took it to seem more well-rounded to colleges). So what should I do? Send them all? Leave one out? Thanks in advance!

I’d leave 'em, unless you know for a fact they require more than one subject test.

You leave them? Meaning you’d send them all in? Anyone else?

He probably meant leave the 600s out unless the specific college asks for more than 1 subject test.

Ah okay. Well yeah a couple of them want two scores, so what do you think I should do?

Just send history and latin, unless they only ask for 1. Your regular sat is strong for all the schools you are applying to

You don’t think that the Latin score is too low, considering it’s my potential major?

I think your Latin SAT is a little low if you intend to major in Classics. But you still might want to send since it shows initiative to take the test on your part. Just an opinion from one potential classics major to another.

Did you take the National Latin Exam, and if so did you get a gold medal? If you did that could compensate for the low SAT Latin score.

^I did take it, and I got a silver medal on it last year. So should I still send it?

Silver medal is still pretty good, so I would recommend sending it too. Good luck!
