Hey guys,

I'm having trouble deciding which SCEA I should choose: Stanford or Yale?

I guess the factor I'm concerned about the most is the likelihood of acceptance, mainly because both are great schools and I don't really prefer one strongly over the other.

I'm a science guy, if I had to pick one subject, but I'm pretty well-rounded. My ECs: School Newspaper, Speech Team, Scholastic Bowl, A capella group, Piano, Biology Club, National Honor Society, Junior Engineering and Technical Society (JETS), Varsity Tennis, Peer Tutor (I go to a boarding school; this is what it sound like: a program through which i help my peers in specific subject areas)

I have a few leadership positions: President of Acapella group, Section editor of newspaper, and i guess Peer Tutor is kind of a leadership position

Also, I have a few things I did junior year but am not doing senior year: Mu Alpha Theta Officier (though I'm still part of Mu Alpha Theta), Wing Guide (this is a residential leadership position, sort of like a college "RA")

As for awards,

United States of America Biology Olympiad (USABO): Semifinalist
University of Toronto National Biology Competition: 29th Place, National Biology Scholar with Distinction

I'm going to be doing research over the summer and hope to get at least regional semifinalist in the Siemens-Westinghouse competition.

As for community service, I volunteer at a hospital over the summer and I'm organizing concerts at various retirement homes.

I go to the Illinois Math and Science Academy, btw.

Since I'm kind of science oriented, I feel like I'd have a better chance at Stanford, but I feel like the music tilts the balance towards Yale.

Personality-wise I'm not really sure; if you could give me some information about both, that'd help me decide.

I know that's a lot to read, but if you could help me figure out which one I'd have a better chance at, I'd really appreciate it.
