Which Schedule is Best? (Future Bio or History Major)

AP Bio (duh! lol)
Honors Physics (Super tough in our school, usually only 10 kids out of about 150 that take it get A's, majority get C's)
AP US History
Honors LA (2 Semester Courses, both honors) -- AP might be overkill
Spanish 5 (one year advanced)
Honors Precalculus
Study Hall ('Cause of Bio)

or

AP Bio
AP US History
AP US Gov. and Politics
AP Calc AB
Honors LA
Spanish 5
SH

or (sorry!!)
AP Bio
AP US History
AP US Gov. and Politics
AP European History (yea, three histories =D)
Honors Precalc
Honors LA
SH

A few comments:

Unless you’re a physics superstar, don’t take that physics class. Upper level classes are often geared towards those who are naturally inclined in that subject area. You likely won’t be able to get by just by being a good student; it’ll take natural goods to get by.

What math did you take this year? If your two options are precal and calc, I imagine you’re only in Algebra II this year. Making the leap from Algebra II to calculus will not be easy. Follow the natural math track.

Just my two cents. I also think three histories is insane. So, basically, I think you need to find the schedule that won’t overstretch you. Each of these three could be more trouble than they’re worth.

Don’t worry about your future major. It doesn’t really matter what your prospective major is since colleges know you’re bound to switch it ten zillion times before you commit.

AP Biology or Honors Physics (not both)
AP US History
Honors Precalculus (you need this to do Calculus properly)
Spanish 5 (not an AP course?)
Some visual or performing arts course (not on your list)
Some literature course (unless Honors LA is meant to be that course)

^Agreed

10char

I just don’t know about taking AP Spanish, world language isn’t really my forte haha (B’s at this point). I might take Honors Spanish Communication and Culture though. Yeah, honors la is my lit. course and I’ve already done my visual/performing arts course requirements. If you’re talking about an instrument, I just don’t have the time and class blocks for that. I want to devote my high school academics to my core classes. Yeah, I guess three histories would be insane, but I’m pretty strong in that subject. But it’s also true that those courses are a LOT of work, so yeah. In terms of physics, I’m pretty strong in the subject, and I’m really interested in it. But I might just wait until senior year. Any more responses would be really appreciated! Right now, I’ll probably be taking:
AP Bio
AP US History
AP Gov. and Pol.
Honors PreCalc
Honors LA (AP??)
Honors Spanish C & C
Study Hall
Gym

Should be manageable. ;)
