Which SCHOOL do I CHOOSE????

I am a junior level transfer and here are my options with the costs of tuition after deducting grants and scholarships (not including loans, room and board, books, etc.) I am majoring in business with a concentration in finance and probably international business. I may double major with economics. Please help with any advice at all..

University of Miami - $14,000/year

Monmouth University (NJ) - $2,000/year

(Room and board seems to be more expensive at Monmouth)

Is UM worth the extra money?

Umiami Duh

The rest of the costs are all going to be loans.. still UM?
I've heard mixed things about UM.. how good a school is it?

be lucky its 14k and not 55k :x

UM is #49 on 08 undergrad bschool for businessweek too
MiamiU is #24 tho

The costs i put are only tuition, which is normally 35k.. im looking at about 25k/year in loans at um.. im just worried about being in debt for the rest of my life..

any1 else have an opinion?

UM for sure. it sucks to be in debt but you can go farther with a UM degree than with one from monmouth....

You might want to message burgler09? He goes to Miami and he's probably be a good person to talk to about the pros and cons of it?

I don't know if he's willing to talk but you can try??

thanks alot.. ill try contacting him tomorrow.. how about the schools academic rep? ive heard mixed things

monmouth is bad. really bad. i would rate it as a 4-year community college.

in the us news 2008 ranking, umiami is ranked above george washingon university, pepperdine, and boston university.

i think it's pretty clear which one is more academically respected.
