Which school do you now regret not applying ED to?

Mine was Johns Hopkins. They had almost a 50% ED acceptance rate this year I think! But at the time I was completely oblivious to how much better the chances were and I guess with my procrastinating self I took too long to decide and way too long to get the app prepared. As a result I had 7 apps instead of a possible 1. Oh well...
What were your stories?

I regret applying to Stanford....haha
but of course, that's because I got rejected.

NYU

but i wasn't allowed to apply ED.

mine was JHU too. That or Penn. Cornell is high on my list but I don't know if i would do ED there. Too bad you can't do ED to public schools like Berkeley...

i wish i had applied to stanford because it is non binding. and it would be interesting to see if i could have gotten in so early. but now i am applying RD so, we will see in april!

The fricken Tufts EDII deadline is the same as the regular, and I didn't even realize so I applied RD for absolutely no reason (and it's my #1). Now it probably looks like I'm more interested in some other place.

NYU

Wow, 50% is very high for JHU!

Yale SCEA . I'll probably be crushed early when they reject me, but still, at least then I'll know... right? LOL.

argh! I really wish I applied ED to Rice

^ same as CocaColaAddict

Well this might be a little odd, but Santa Clara. If I had visited before the EA deadline I would have applied in a heartbeat and saved myself a lot of work/essays/etc...I don't really want to go elsewhere now :/

Penn. Their ~30% is a lot better than Yale's ~13% *sigh.

MIT, though I hear that their ED/EA acceptances are actually tougher than RD.

Stanford. :( even like 2% higher acceptance would help... It's my first choice, and it'd be the cheapest for me.

duke...or georgetown.

same reasons as Jcancollegebound...
nothing but regrets and i hate it when you only have yourself to blame...bc now i applied apply regular and my chances are highly diminished.

exactly. Everyday I regret it a little bit more...

i totally regret applying to williams. it wasn't a good idea since there were 10 other highly qualified ppl applying there...i should have done bowdoin or wash u

Columbia. Turns out my gut for 10 years was right, and though it's not really "easier" to get into than the school I did apply to ED (Dartmouth), I feel like I had personal connections that would've mattered in ED but not as much in RD. Also, I think Dartmouth's ED rate is sort of a mind-trick: it appears to be pretty easy, but that's when they tell all the athletes and legacies to apply, as with many other schools.

But whatever. Can't re-do the process! We'll just see what happens regular.

rhodes, because i would have gotten in with enough financial aid guaranteed...instead of getting in RD with NO aid.

william and mary, too, or vanderbilt.

^^^wow. I feel it for you.
