<p>NP has great campus life. The town is fantastic and location close enough to NYC to catch a train or bus in under 2 hours. Academics are as challenging as you choose to make it. There are great professors, small classes. My niece is at Oneonta and she likes it. Although she does say there is not alot to do on weekends, especially if you are not into the “party scene” ie. drinking. IMO would say on the whole that NP is a bit more challenging academically than Oneonta, and has more to do on/off campus. Don’t know about the psych programs at either.</p>
<p>Both are solid academically, but NP wins hands-down b/c of its proximity to NYC.</p>
