Which School is the most selective?

From my curiosity,my son goes to Elliot School of International Affairs. I wonder how hard it is to get in?

Elliot School is the most well-known and hardest to get in, I believe.

The Elliott School is well-known, but not significantly harder to get into than the Columbian College or the business school. The journalism program is the most competitive, with an acceptance rate in the teens. Those who can not get into the journalism program are often offered acceptance to the Columbian College, however.

I am pretty sure that the political communications major is the most competitive at GW...though as a school within the university, Elliot is definitely the toughest to get into.

the elliott school admissions rate was about 15 percent this year.

are you sure it was 15, i read somewhere that it was around 20.

Actually, this chart shows that the School of Public Health is the hardest to get into, followed by the School of Business, then the Columbian College, which had an acceptance rate of 34.88%. The Elliot School accepted 47.28% of applicants.

Very helpful weblink. Did they come out with the stats for 2007 ? I would be curious to see how things have changed. I did read that ED applicants dropped off somewhat at GW this past year.

so out of all the schools
which one is easiest to get into?

I do think the School of Media and Public Affairs is actually the hardest to be accepted to, especially as a freshman. You can't tell by those stats because technically it is a part of the Columbian College.
