So now I have about 5 weeks to choose a college. At this point I'm as concerned as ever because I'm confused. I have a mix of small and big schools, but I could go to anyone. So if the price was close between these schools which one would you go to if you were a biology major. Just gathering some info about which school people think is the best. I feel comfortable at all of them and have visited.

Minnesota
Butler University
Kansas
Iowa
Trinity (TX)
Illinois Wesleyan
South Carolina

Minnesota or Iowa.

Butler is very strong in the sciences…

But, those schools are kind of all over the map in terms of types…

Ask yourself:

Do you want big or small.

warm or cold?

Private or public?

Why do you want those things, and which do you want more. You have a lot of really different school types so it depends on what it is you are looking for otherwise, just personally, as well.

Either Trinity or Illinois Wesleyan

Minnesota all the way!

Bump thank you for the responses

stuckinllinois,

There’s not a bad school on that list, but poetgirl is right. You need to make a list of what you really want.

Bias here-- TU is building new science facilities, San Antonio is a great city, and the weather sure beats anything in in the Midwest. D loves it there. If you have any ?, PM me and I’ll try to help.

Personally, I would go to Minnesota, but all are good schools that would offer a good education.

I’d choose Iowa, but I’m into writing.
