<p>Eh. I’m just turning down Cal and a bunch of other UCs. The only other big one I got into was Cal. Man, I can’t believe someone gave up Stanford for UCLA. I love UCLA and it’s been my dream school for a long time, but I don’t know that I’d give up Stanford for it. Well, for financial reasons of coruse.</p>

<p>for UCLA ^^ People say I’m crazy for giving up UIUC since I’m an EE major, but schools are in the top 15, plus rankings change every year. In the long run I think the name is what will matter and not the difference of few ranks be it in the major or overall [though UCLA is much higher than UIUC overall] but meh. UCLA FTW! =D</p>

<p>5 years ago aside from saftey schools I turned down Stanford Caltech Usc and Cal.</p>

After applying, I decided math and econimcs were more my liking than electrical engineering. With the possiblity of changing my mind again, I wanted a school that is great at everything!</p>
