Other than University of Michigan-Ann Arbor?

UWisconsin-Madison?

boston university

@ UMich, really? haha i should definitely apply in that case!

I think Singaporeans love UWM more than the other way round. Lots of A*STAR scholars go there. (Note: Singaporeans aren’t exempt from the TOEFL requirement when applying to UWM.)

I was told by a (Singaporean) friend currently at BU that she doesn’t know anyone who applied there who wasn’t accepted. But this is a bit of a skewed fact, because she comes from a… premier JC in the Bishan-AMK area.

According to USC admissions, Singapore is the fifth most represented foreign country after China, India, Canada and the UK (not sure if it’s in that order). I think there are quite a few Singaporeans at UC-B and at Stanford, too.

Lots of Singaporeans at Cornell, too, and seems like there are a lot at UPenn and UChicago this year (class of 2012). Purely anecdotal/observation, though.

One more thing… this is also something I notice, rather than something backed up with hard facts: Singaporean students overwhelmingly choose schools in the Northeast, California, or at the most the flagships in some Midwestern states (UMich, UWM, UIUC, Purdue? … UChicago as well). South, Southwest, and the geographical centre of the US have a considerably lower concentration of Singaporeans. Plus - particularly if they’re on scholarship rather than on parents’ money - they tend to go to universities rather than liberal arts colleges.

cornell? for rjc students i heard… other than that most schs love singaporeans if they are paying themselves

ahh im not from rjc :(

Any idea where to get rjc commonapp stats for 2007 ?
