Hey guys, I'm going to be a Senior in September and i seem to have no real idea of which schools I should be considering. I want to major in neuroscience but also want to be in the pre-med route. My weighted GPA is 3.8 and in my Junior year I took AP Lang and comp, AP Bio, AP US History 2, AP Macroeconomics, Physics Honors and Precalc AB Honors. I am the president of National Honor Society for my class, am a state certified EMT, Took part in a medical school "Pre-Medical Honors Program" and graduated with Honors distinction, play two sports, one of them being varsity Lacrosse. I have received the Presidents Volunteer Service Award with Silver distinction and should be receiving gold this December and have spent close to 300 hours shadowing emergency room physicians. Standardized testing wise, I have a 1350 out of 1600 (680 math, 670 CR) and a 1950 out of 2400 (a 600 on writing :/). I got a 790 on SAT 2 Bio and I just took the ACT because people convinced me to do so and I got a 30 (27 on English, 28 on Math, 29 on Reading and a 36 on Science). I plan on re-taking and expect a 32 or above. In addition, do I have any chance of getting into an 8 year medical program?

some schools i would look at would be hendrix college, haverford college, muhlenberg college and ursinus college.

you may not have heard of them but they will give you a solid bio/ pre-med degree and a super strong shot at med school! muhlenberg and ursinus have a 8 year med program with drexel university and muhlenberg I think also has an early acceptance program with temple university med school. all the above schools have a good all around feel and a happy student body!
