I got 87% on my last SSAT scores...
72 on verbal
92 on math
90 on reading

i cant retake it anymore because i made the mistake of already sending the scores to the schools im applying for: exeter, andover and st. pauls...
i mightn't get into those schools with my scores though, so should i apply for more?
if so which ones should i apply for?

With those scores, you do have a shot at those schools you mention, but you'll need to be great everywhere else. You should definitely apply to more schools than those, if you have your mind set on going to boarding school. What are your interests, and what do you want from a school?

Any SSAT score - even in the upper 90's - you need to be great at everything to get into those schools.
Your score of upper 80's puts you in the game - you will NOT be rejected because of those scores. That said, you should consider others as well (even if you had 99%) unless your local school is a back up plan you will be happy with.

By the way - you CAN retake it and the schools will simply have both sets of scores. That's not a problem at all. But, there is no reason to.

Thanks MDog and Linda S... so my ssat scores are high enough right?
But wouldn't it be a little weird if I had 2 sets of scores sent in? (and the december test is all filled up so I'd have to take the january one...)

the interviews all went really well, and i can write great essays... my grades are all A+ (apart from math where i was 0.1% away from an A+)
my extra cirriculars are flute, tennis, swimming, art, community service (leading kid's chapels)...
and i speak 3 other languages fluently- mandarin, cantonese, taiwanese...

so which other schools would be good to apply to as well?
I'm looking for a great English and History program, since they are my favorite subjects...

maybe you should retake, it wouldnt hurt.
i got an 85 at first, but a 97 after,
and i know that a lot of schools look at the best scores,
or all three of them.

yea, but the problem is that the december tests are all booked full, and I was afraid that the January tests would be too late... besides, I'm not even sure if there's any availible space left for January!!! there's only one test site in Taiwan too, where i'm living right now, so it's kinda hard...

Italianboarder: my first language is English, we've lived in the States and Hong Kong before we moved to Taiwan.

Mpicz: What other languages do you speak? I've learnt French for a year too and wanted to continue it... but it's pretty hard!

i was still just wondering which other schools would be good... not a school from the TSAO, since all the SSAT scores for those have to be pretty high too (wouldn't they?) i checked it up on boarding school review, but I'm still not sure which schools would be the best...

By the way, it's OK to send in more than 1 set of scores to the schools?
