I’m in the IB program, but because of scheduling conflicts I couldn’t take an IB science this year, so I’m currently in Dual Enrollment Geophysics (literally the only class available during my free block). However, I’m thinking about switching out at the end of the first semester and taking online AP Physics I during the second semester. My reason for switching would be to have a more rigorous science class (since it’s junior year and all) and also to be more prepared for SL Physics next year. On the downside, I would have to work at twice as fast in the online course, in order to fit a full year of AP Physics into one semester. What do you all think? Is the extra workload “worth it” if it means having a more rigorous science?
Anyone?
I would just keep Geophysics dual enrollment is actually challenging and plus you get less work as you mentioned
