I’m not completely sure what you’re applying for but the SAT and SAT subject tests are very different. Often the SAT is required, as a general test of your knowledge in critical reading, writing, and math. SAT II subject tests are typically optional and check your knowledge in more specific areas like Chemistry, German, US History, or whatever. You will probably have to take the SAT at some point, but the subject tests are only required by specific universities.
Does this help at all?

I suggest you go to the websites for the colleges in which you’re interested and check their requirements for admission. This is the only accurate way to determine what you need.

Take the SAT first, then determine if you need to take SAT II’s. But first, stick to the SAT.

take SAT first as every college accepts them I think. most colleges don’t requires SAT 2s except for like ivies etc
