hello ! sorry for askin many questions lately...
im trying to finalize my college list TT.
anyways, which state has the best weather in general?
Best weather, in my point of view, should be like this:

1)not too much snow in the winter...e. g. like in some places, it snows hard everyday in winter...i can't bear that. i can't really bear coldness :S it's ok to snow sometimes...but not to the point where snow makes us hard to travel.
2)i love autumn and spring weather in asia. i would love to live in somewhere that has this kind of weather ususally....
3)not cloudy! i like to see sunnnn! it makes me less depressed (:
4) not too dry :S my skin gets really bad when tht happens...

basically, i don't like somewhere that's unbearably cold and dry.
please give me some info thanks :)
in fact, i wanan know which part of the map of the us has the weather i prefer...(e. g. south-east..etc)
thanks!!

DEFINITELY Maryland. I've loved the weather here because you get to experience all four seasons at their best. Plus it isn't too dry, has a lot of sun, and snows occasionally in the winter but not everyday.

North carolina: a lot of sun plus some snow in the winter....great colleges..duke, UNC

colorado: Denver is one of the cities with the most number of sunny days per year..it does not snow as much as people think..University of denver is a good school

arizona: Northern Arizona University in flagstaff sounds good..a lot of sunshine, snow in the winters and not too hot like phoenix or tucson.

tennesse:Home to Vanderbilt University .Nashville has great weather..a lots of sun and some snow in the winter...plus is near the smoky mountains which are very beautiful..

Northern California! To those saying mid-Atlantic states, you're thinking only of the current weather we've been having! The winters are not nice and it is cloudy much of winter.

Cervantes--Don't forget Mark Twain's famous quote: "The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco." Those winds off the bay can cut like a frozen knife. (Though Northern California remains my favorite place in the world.)

Maryland is actually really nice during the fall, not too much rain, it snows a tiny bit, not overwhelming like the Boston area that I am used to. I like the warm weather here, it doesn't get reaking hot. Though in the summer time, it gets hot and humid, not good for those that like hot and dry weather.

^ Eastern PA is very similar to Maryland (I spent many years living in both), although PA is a bit less hot and humid in the summer. But the whole Mid-Atlantic region will provide the seasonal changes you seem to want, without winters that are too oppressive.

I guess it depends on what you're accustomed to but, unlike MomofWildChild, I don't find PA to be gray too much of the time, especially compared to lots of other places in the US.

Maybe my personal barometer is skewed--entirely possible, since my point of comparison is Newfoundland vs. Delaware. Trust me, compared to NF winters, the Mid-Atlantic states are wonderfully mild.

wow, thanks for all the replies guys (:
yup, i think i would focus more on the mid-atlantic (southern-east i guess)
e. g. virginia, pennsylvania, maryland, north carolina, georgia,,,

Oh btw guysss, which state is the coldest (esp in winter) except for alaska? is it generally in the north or?
i forgot to ask which state has the WORST weather lol :P like dark, snowy..etc. thankss =]

I'm glad you've narrowed down your search area. But your geography worries me a bit.

Pennsylvania and Georgia are nowhere near each other. Georgia is in the South. Pennsylvania is in the Northeast. I'm sure they're both nice states though.
