Which subjects to take for a mathematics major?

Hi, I’m an international student going up to 11th grade, and I got a 5 on my Calculus BC, my 2 Physics C APs, and my Chem AP. I want to major in mathematics/economics at college, and can you suggest some subjects that might give me a bonus? I’m obviously going to take Stats and Micro/Macro and I’m thinking about CS, but I think there can be more that can help me out.

CSA and CSP might help for a math major, and then some of the history classes might help for an economics major because patterns and trends and stuff. Other than that, you seem to have everything that might help.

I majored in math in college–single most useful topic to study is proofs! I also found having some exposure to Real Analysis to be helpful, since the honors level treatment of it can be intense for a freshman.

I’m only a junior in high school, so sorry if this is not a valid answer, but might I suggest AP English Language? Being able to write good analysis is quite useful for Economics.

Have a nice day!

I would try to continue in Math…taking Multivariable Calculus…Stats, Micro/Macro and CS courses would be good.
