I am currently a freshman (sophomore next year) and I am looking for a summer program.
I am interested in math, politics, economics, and choir.
I thought EPGY's courses on Cryptography, Mathematical Puzzles and Combinatoral Game Theory, Legal Studies, and Political Science sounded interesting.
I know UCLA has classes open to people my age (15), but you have to be 16 to get housing, which is a bit of an issue. I think I could take an online course though (online.ucla.edu) I thought Linguistics sounded interesting.
CTY- I am interested in the Game Theory course, but I have not taken the SAT/ACT yet. I have a PSAT score, but it only qualifies me for humanities courses (57 critical reading). I had a rather low math score (39), but I usually am good at math and always get A's in math.
HCSSiM- looks interesting. Anyone been?
SUMaC- looks interesting as well, but correct me if I'm wrong, I think I need to be a year older to go.
People to People- I am signed up, and pretty sure I am going to cancel since I hear it doesn't help on college apps and I went last year, and didn't enjoy anything other than the people I met.
Also, does anyone know anything about/ has been to the Rutgers summer program or Iowa State's?

Now, the dreaded question: does any of this look good on a college application? I heard EPGY is not that selective, but I applied last year and didn't get in tear

Stats: I have a 4.0 GPA (unweighted), but no honors or AP courses since my school offers neither.
Extracurricular: I am in choir, have been on the crew for plays, and am in Global Connect (we organize international themed events and help with them).
PSAT Scores: 57 critical reading, 39 math, 53 critical writing
SAT-9 (Stanford Achievement Test, 9th edition) scores: Don't know the exacts, but I got high on everything except Listening (got middle)
(I will probably submit the SAT-9 scores.....)
