Which to double major with Biochemistry?

Hi! I am an incoming freshman who’s considering double majoring in Biochem and International Relations or Biochem and Psychology. The amount of time to acquire either double major option is almost the same, so that isn’t a deciding factor for me.
I am interested in Int Relations because I would like to work for an NGO or an international research company. I would definitely specialize in Middle Eastern studies ( I lived there for most of my life, am from there, and fluent in Arabic), so the course load wouldn’t be too rigorous ( not only because of my previous experiences but because a lot of the ‘core’ classes surprisingly overlap with Biochem and all there’s left are cultural/diversity classes). Plus, there’s a required travel abroad program which seems fun
However, I am also interested in Psychology because the specific type of research that I want to do deals with psychology ( social behavior, psychological illnesses, etc). If I go for a science track in Psychology, the courses required definitely correlate well with my Biochem studies. In addition, I feel like psychology would give me more opportunities for hands on experience/research dealing with my science studies.

Basically, I’m torn between whether I want to double major in something that would help my employment options or my research specifications. I am also not sure which of the two is in more demand in the market. I would assume that Int Rel with Middle Eastern studies would be, given the present conflict in the region, but I could be wrong.

Anyway, what do you guys think I should do?
