<p>Davis has a badass, powerful horse. UCSC has what looks like a turd with antennae.</p>
<p>when I went on a campus tour (with some other hopeful transfers from my community college) to UC Irvine, our tour guide mentioned how (people from) other universities couldn’t fathom why the UCI mascot was an anteater.</p>

I would say UCLA’s mascot is pretty cool just because it’s iconic but in the end it’s nothing unique lol. It’s a bear just like Cal’s and UCR’s mascot.</p>

<p>UCSC definitely has the worst one… the banana slug… I went on a college visit there one time in elementary school and I actually saw one. It was disgusting.</p>

<p>The banana slug was voted top ten best team names by espn. It wouldn’t say its the worst mascot. Assuming that UC Riverside is the oldest out of Cal and Ucla. I think it’s pretty uncreative of Riverside to come up with a bear as a mascot when there were two schools with the same name. So Riverside gets my vote!</p>

<p>I like Cals mascot. I know it isn’t original, but I feel like it does what a mascot should do.</p>
<p>However, UCSC’s mascot, in my opinion, really sums up the feeling of UCSC, just from the people I know who have gone there. It isn’t supposed to be serious, its supposed to be funny.</p>
<p>I don’t like Davis’s mascot, “The Aggies”. I mean, come on. I know its a picture of a horse, but an Aggie isn’t a horse, its an agriculturalist, and for some reason they chose a horse picture to go with that. I just think having farmers as a mascot is kinda meh.</p>
