<p>This just came up in another thread...what are your opinions on the best/worst mascot at a UC? </p>
<p>I'm biased, I like UCSC's banana slug. I think it's unique. Worst might have to be UCI's...</p>

<p>Why couldn’t anywhere have a velociraptor as their mascot? I would go there just for the gear, and the obligatory velociraptor impersonations before a big game or something.</p>

<p>HA HA HA HA. I have to say, if every UC mascot were to battle, King Triton would kill every single one. He controls the ocean, so every one of them would be drowned. The Bear, the Bruin, the Mustang, the Anteater, the Gaucho, the Highlander Bear, the Banana Slug, the bobcat. All of 'em!</p>
<p>we (UC Davis) are technically mustangs, with gunrock the mustang as our mascot
but we always refer to ourselves as aggies (yes short for agricultural), hence the aggie pack</p>
