<p>I'm assuming many of the UC's have a great social life (depending on how much effort you actually put in); I've been to UCLA a few times for one of my siblings, and it's awesome in Westwood </p>
<p>there's plenty of stuff to do on and off campus day and night there. </p>

i chose ucsb because i wanted to get out of the bubble (Irvine) , UCSB has an amazing chemE program and finally i wanted to experience college-dorm life</p>
