<p>i just read on another post that with the 'regents or chancellors' scholarship at a uc school you can get a full ride but on le website it is really unclear and says the amount of the scholarship varies by school, so at which school would i be most likely able to get a full ride? or the closest to that? i was thinking maybe merced because it's new and probably more likely to try and attract students but other than that i have no idea each campus website doesn't really clarifyyyyyyy brooo</p>
<p>Edit: apparently you can only even apply for the scholarship by invitation only? unless that is wrong but it appears to be out of reach so whatever nevermind. any schools in cali where full ride is a possibility?</p>
<p>Apply to a bunch of UCs and see what you get. Son got Regents from Davis but not from Berkeley…chose Berkeley anyhow. However, I don’t think the Regents covered everything, though.</p>
<p>Davis and Merced offer up to full in-state COA for Regent’s scholars. The scholarship is merit based, but the monetary award is based on need, so I imagine only EFC 0 students would get the full in-state COA.</p>

<p>i have a 3.9 gpa unweighted 4.4/4.5 weighted and sufficient extra curriculars i think, a lot of them are all focused on international things and then engineering club, i’ve taken any honors/ap class my school offers, errr my class rank is not very good i’m in what they sayy, the ‘third decile’ so anywhere from 21%-30%, but my grade has about 65 kids in it maybe less and they’re all evil scientists*</p>
<p>You have a 1480 M+CR. That’s what your merit aid will likely be based on. Most schools do not use the W score for merit</p>
<p>From other posts, it seems like Regents awards have changed in recent years. Often, the awards are quite small…like $1k or $5k. And, some seem to have a “need” requirement for more money</p>
<p>It seems like the top UCs give little for Regents unless you have need. The lower tier UCs seems to give a bit more.</p>
<p>I don’t think any UCs give full ride Regents.</p>

<p>Full rides without NMF status are getting more and more rare. Yes, there are probably some directional publics or little-known privates that might give a full ride for your stats, but they may not be what you want.</p>
