Hi!

I'm currently a sophomore at Fordham studying Marketing. I'm vying to be in the advertising industry or other industries close to it like media, etc. but I'm lost. I have no idea what I should be doing and not sure I'm in the correct major. I am looking towards the more creative side of the business but I don't think I'd want to major/minor in visual arts. I do have a background in art and am pretty proficient in Photoshop, Corel, etc. at the moment and am now learning Dreamweaver, After Effects, etc. (I do this for fun!) I also have had interest in journalism and such. Basically I am a creative person and don't see myself in an analytical/statistical field like finance, accounting and such. I do see myself in a creative industry but not necessarily as the designers, but also as a creative director and such.
Should I perhaps be looking into a communications major/minor and keep marketing as a major/minor? Will my school hinder my chances of reaching such an industry since it is mainly known for accounting and finance? I don't know! Which way can I go?!

Thank you!
