<p>Sure, there is still discrimination (trust me, I know some white people who recently have discriminated against black people), but there is also discrimination against whites. Whites aren't the only people discriminating against others!!!! I have many black friends, and we (my white and black friends) treat each other no differently because of our skin color or ancestors' enslavement/discrimination. My black friends said that they didn't like being discriminated against to recieve benefits above other skin colors. Also, I don't think it's right that we group people together in stereotypes such as, "his color is black, that means his ancestors were slaves"(although, yes, for the majority this may be true) or "her skin color is white, so that means that her ancestors enslaved people" (we've had a ton of "white" immigrants arrive here since the Civil War). I love everybody, and just want everybody to be treated equally!</p>
