Any thoughts? Taking bets on where I'll be headed come May 1...

If Cornell is indeed the lowest-tier Ivy League, then IN at all.

aem is competitive, though...and cornell is very tough (hence, its my #1 :/)

You have sports, awards, officer positions, and SATs. Don't worry too much.

Good GPA, slightly weak scores, good ECs, somewhat weak honors/awards.

Cornell: slight reach - reach
Berkeley: high match (60%), depending on your essays
UCLA: match
UCSD: safe match - safety
UCD: safety

I'd say you'll be headed to either Berkeley or UCLA.

I'm assuming Dartmouth would be a reach as well?

I appreciate the optimism

i thought my essays were creative; spent quite some time on them

on my daily swith, ucla >>>> berk (currrently)

anyone else????

...beuhler, beuhler

its bueller, bueller...for the record

i think u have a chance for UCLA (my school) but just to let you know, they DONT have any undergrad business program.....
Cornell- high reach

Cal- high reach

UCLA- high reach (just to let you know) ucla receives more than 50,000
applications, the most of ALL SCHOOLS, and almost 49,000 get
rejected.......

and as for UCSD and UCD, because of the ridiculous number of acceptances they hand out, almost like giving out candy, YOU ARE IN FOR SURE, unless you apply for some impacted major such as animal science for UCD

oh, and im not sure you really wanna get into Revelle College at UCSD, i know plenty of people in revelle and they say its HELL ON EARTH. id pick muir or warren first

^i know, revelle was prob a bad choice (I can prob change it if it came to that) ur stats on ucla are pretty wrong though (23% accepted/approx 45,000 apply)

the ucla biz econ program is quite strong

Cornell: slight reach
Berkeley: match
UCLA: match
UCSD: safe match
UCD: safety

bump me 1 more time...i think i have time to apply to 1 more realistic reach:

should it be dartmouth, northwestern, or hopkins be considered at all reasonable? (like b/n 5-15%)

Can you take the SATs one more time? I think that would really help.

well, it would...but likely I'm not going to replicate the 720 W, I could get 750 Math assuming the curve doesn't rape me, and I don't really think I'll ever get >650 on CR

should I try JHU anyway?

also, could I be in contention for Regent's @ UCD?

...anyone at all?
